Ketamine

Willow understands that depression, anxiety, and PTSD affects both the mind and the body, causing lack of sleep, changes in appetite, fatigue, headaches, and pain as well as feelings of despair and helplessness. Ketamine is an anesthetic drug that has been found to have value in treating mental health disorders and chronic pain when given in low doses by infusion.

Regenerative Medicine

In general, any treatment that stimulates or improves the body’s ability to heal is a “regenerative” therapy. Long term damage leads to tendons and joints that are chronically inflamed. Because of the damage, these structures are unable to progressively heal themselves. This chronic damage leads to scar tissue formation, decreased blood flow to the area, and subsequently…poor healing ability. Traditional types of medical treatments are steroids, NSAIDs, physical therapy, orthotic inserts, etc. Doctors use these to either decrease inflammation, or decrease further damage to the area. These methods can help assist the healing process, but still rely on the damaged tissue’s ability to heal, which is often compromised. During your consultation, Dr. Kinard will discuss various options including stem cell and amniotic fluid products which are non-FDA approved for this particular use and, therefore, typically not a covered service by your health insurance provider.
